Hey folks! I continue the course I’ve wrote about during this article. You can check out the previous challenge as well.

The fifth callenge was this question below:

First describe a non-technological peak experience. Then describe how you might go about creating a design that supports that experience.

Example answer:

Eating my favorite flavor of ice cream is a peak experience.

If you want to design a technology that supports the peak experience, you could focus on customization for the individual user. E.g. selling ice cream via an app that allows users to create their own flavor

Write your answer in two or three paragraphs.

My response to it was:

Collecting photos in photo albums is a peak experience. We can convert it into a digital peak experience by creating an application that supports these features:

  • Create an album;
  • Choose a custom cover, title, and date for the album;
  • Scan old pictures and save them in the album;
  • Upload new ones;
  • Choose the order of the photos;
  • Add titles, date, and descriptions for them;
  • Add options for edit and preview;
  • Share it with other people;
  • Let the comment and add reactions to photos;
  • Enjoy the virtual experience of having a photo album.

I also have created a small presentation similar to the crackers case study.
